AdvanceCare and dacadoo announce partnership to provide digital wellbeing services to Portuguese consumers
(Lisbon, Portugal and Zurich, Switzerland, 16 February 2023) – Portuguese AdvanceCare, an independent healthcare management provider launches ‘AdvanceCare+’ a holistic health and wellbeing platform for its clients which was developed by Swiss Healthtech and Insurtech company dacadoo.
The newly announced Digital Health Engagement Platform AdvanceCare+ motivates its users into adopting healthier lifestyles and is being launched for AdvanceCare customers in Portugal this month.
AdvanceCare+ uses dacadoo’s technology that is built on over 300 million person-years of scientific data. It aggregates principles from gamification, behavioral science, automated coaching and artificial intelligence for an engaging and encouraging user experience.
At the core of AdvanceCare+, is the award-winning dacadoo Health Score, which quantifies holistic health in a single number from 0 (poor) to 1,000 (excellent). The Health Score changes in near real-time depending on a number of lifestyle factors, physical health and mental wellbeing.
Those factors are also adjusted to local context (typical diets, typical lifestyle habits, etc.). Leveraging its Clinical expertise with dacadoo’s flexibility to adjust parameters, it was possible to achieve a solution tailored to the Portuguese market.
The technology behind AdvanceCare’s platform has been proven highly effective, with 64% of users reporting improvements to their Health Score after just 12 months of using the platform. The overwhelming majority of those users (90%) increased their Health Score due to better lifestyle choices, which are of crucial importance to overall health outcomes.
AdvanceCare is taking their mission “to promote a healthy life and take care of clients at all stages of their lives”, to action and to a measurable level via their own Digital Health Engagement Platform.
